BBC News & Info 2008: April 19-20, 2008 Lake Guntersville State Park

Birmingham Bass club held its Spring two day on Guntersville last weekend and was a good tournament with 11 full boats. John Nolan put together a 2 day total of 23.76 to take home the win.. JD Dickerson almost pulled off his patented 2 day come back to finish 2nd with 21.63,Ryan Hermecz was 3rd with 21.62 Fourth was William Mcree with the most weight for for a single day of 21.25 & rounding out the top 5 was the day one leader Ken Lowe with 18.56..

The second tournament of the season is in the books. We had 11 boats & 21 people.. It was beautiful day on lake Mitchell, that saw a new member step up to the plate & win this thing from the back of the boat... Congratulations to Eugene Brown with 12.39 Second place went to JD Dickerson with 10.40 With Jeff Pardue taking third place with 10.38.. BTW Jeff & Eugene were in the same boat ... Congratulations to all. Great job...

BBC News & Info 2008: February 23, 2008 Lake Jordan

Birmingham Bass Club opened the 2008 season on a cold Windy,cloudy & over cast day on Lake Jordan. With 13 boats & 26 people. We had several limits weighed,with good weights .The fishing was much better than the weather, as was the turn out. Great start to a new season!!!
Dave Johnson won the tournament with 15.63 lbs With newcomer Ken Lowe 2nd with 15.18 Jeff Corley finishing 3rd with 14.12 with the tournaments big fish a 5.86 spot. Rounding out the top 5 were John Nolan with 12.32 & Josh Dees with 12.22........
