A beautiful weekend for the final two day of the year on Lake Wilson.  It was a tuff tournament for all but Mr. Lee Byrd came out on top AGAIN, he dominated this year.  He won with 18.51lbs for two days and had a 4.45 large mouth on the second day.  JD came in second with 13.28lbs for two days. Charles Rosato came in 3rd place with 12.20lbs for 2 days and had a 4.51 Small mouth the first day.  We split the big fish pot for the two days and there was some beautiful fish caught.  1st day Large mouth - Ryan H. 4.68lb; 1st day small mouth - Charles R. 4.51lb; 2nd day large mouth - Lee B. 4.45lbs; 2nd day small mouth - Ed W. 4.16lbs.  Also, Mr JD Dickerson and Charles Rosato won the total boat weight for the tournament with 25.48lb of fish for two days.  Thank you for the great tournaments and participation all year long.  See everyone next year.

All I can say is, that it was tuff day of fishing for most of us.  I would have thought from our past years of fishing there it would have been a lot better. 

One of our old club members decided he wanted to fish this one.  Mr. Will McRee decided to not watch baseball and come out with us and go fishing.  He won the tournament with 5 fish that went 9.03lbs .  Second place was Lee Byrd (of course) with 5 fish that went 8.15lbs.  And Third place was Mr. John Nolan with 5 fish that went 8.09lbs.  Big Fish for the tournament was Mr. Patrick  Grap with a 4.40lb Small Mouth.  The winners for total boat weight for the tournament was Lee Byrd and Charles Rosato. 

Thank you to everyone who could make the Wheeler tournament and I hope we get to see everyone at the final tournament of the season at Wilson.

It's nice to see everyone again and get the second half of the season kicked off.  Yes, it turned out to be a beautiful mid 80's day on Logan Martin.  A lot of fish where caught on the lake today.  Mr. Lee Byrd (leading angler of the year at the moment) won the tournament with 5 fish that went 14.37lbs.  He also won big fish for the tournament with a 4.96lb largemouth and he won total boat weight for tournament, congratulations. JD, came in second place with 5 fish that went 12.54lbs.  John White, came in 3rd place with 5 fish that went 9.30lbs.  Thank you to every who fished at Logan Martin and I hope to see you for our next tournament at Wheeler on October 8th.

IT WAS HOT, but if you could find the breeze it wasn't that bad.  It was another good tournament for the BBC.  A little rule change for the club on this tournament, 3 fish limit because of the heat.  Lee Byrd took the honors this month, by winning at Lay Lake with 3 fish that went 8.40lbs.  Dave Johnson, came in second with 3 fish that went 7.82lbs with a dead fish penalty and I'm sorry to say he would have had big fish if he wouldn't have had that (3.91lb fish).  Michael Restifo, had big fish with a 3.81lb largemouth bass.  Ryan Hermecz, came in 3rd with 3 fish that went 7.15lbs.  Ryan Hermecz also won the total boat weight for the tournament.  Thank you everyone for a great tournament.  REMEMBER ABOUT THE OLD MAN TOURNAMENT IN AUGUST.  The next club tournament is in September.

It was a first for me and a lot of the members of the Birmingham Bass Club, Jordan In MAY?  It turned out to be a beautiful warm day on the lake.  Mr. Bill Kervaski decided to make a comeback on one of his favorite lakes even though it is not February or March.  Bill came is with 5 fish that went 11.97lbs to take the overall lead of the tournament.  Chris Wiemar, out of the back of my boat came in 2nd place with 11.09lbs.  Steve Harbin, came in 3rd place with 5 fish that went 10.90lbs and had big fish for the tournament that went 3.51lbs. We also had a total boat weight winner that went to Chris Wiemar and Matthew Hebert with 20.59lbs. Thank you for being at the tournament and I hope to see you at Lay Lake on June 18th. 

It turned out to be a beautiful two day event on Neely Henry.  Thank you to everyone who could make the tournament.  It was a little tuff the first day but for some they figured it out on the second day.  Mr. John Nolan came in with 9.00lbs the first day and 17.71lbs for the second day to win the tournament with 26.71lbs total for the tournament.  In my opinion the 17.71lbs the second day and his partner Patrick Grap had 15.07lbs that  would have been something to see because it was all spots.  Ed Willis came in 2nd with a two day total of 20.32lbs.  Sonny Burroughs is on a hot streak and leading angler of the year right now, he came in 3rd with 19.45lbs for the two days.  The most improved for the tournament was Lee Byrd, he went from 0 fish the first day to 14.29lbs the second day and had big fish for the tournament with a 5.42lb largemouth bass.
