Congrats to BK (Bruce Killer) Dickerson on his win at the 2-Day. Very nice bag of fish on day 2. Also to Bruce & Charles...they had a very impressive total boat weight for the tournament! Nice job by the TC too, except for the limited parking at the motel. The door prizes were a nice touch. |

Just goes to show you that practice don't always help! Oh well, at least the Alabama River ain't Guntersville......
Congradulations to the winners! I hear Dougie is buying everyone lunch this week? |

You are right on about the Alabama River not being Gville. My five little fish on Saturday weighed less than one fish I caught on Gville a week earlier.
At least I didn't prefish for a month and still not finish in the top ten. I just need to learn to get them in the boat when I hook em.
Scott -- ya did all right with the exception of adding another 1 1/2 - 2 ft of water to the river. |

I went prefishing twice before the tourney not counting Friday. Three weeks prior to the tourney the water was down 2ft and they ran water all day. A week prior to the tourney, the water was at full pool and they ran water all day. Both of those days were excellent.
Tournament time the water is up, the shad are spawning, and the current is no where to be found. Standard operating proceedure. At least I knew where I could run and not run...... |

I'm going to mark the few places that we did catch fish and discard the other 80 miles of shoreline that we seen. I'm also going to mark where we seen JD sitting at the end of the day.
Nice catch JD, Bruce and the rest of the top ten. |

He only caught 50% of his fish on the weineee worm and he chose to throw that while I was throwing the trickster. His other 50% was on a trick worm.
Also, I agree with Bubba....You blow !!! |

Why did you say "thanks john"? Are you just an idiot or are you from Wisconsin? |
