Dave started the tradition early this year! Congrats to Dave, Ken and Jeff C. on their excellent catches on Jordan. There were some quality fish caught yesterday! What did that Big Spot weight Jeff...almost Six?!

5.86 lbs, I believe. According to ZebraBoy, I was just "lucky" again. Laughing Laughing

No, it is not luck when you have a big daddy spot come out of nowhere and clobber your spinnerbait at the surface at the boat! I am sure that is all skill! Laughing

You listen about as well as my wife!! Confused Confused Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes
The fish was a full cast length away, on a rocky point, next to a log laying in the water. The spinnerbait hit the water, I turned the handle, and she crushed it. It wasn't out of nowhere and it wasn't AT the boat.

My congrats to all! Very Happy

Unfortunately, it was not my day. BUT, never count Jordan out on any day in Winter or early Spring. Crying or Very sad

Corley - at least you showed up to fish Jordan. More than I can say for the Zebrajet. Rolling Eyes

It will be tough to unseat that big spot, but it can be done on Mitchell, Lay, or Logan Martin.

Y'all did good Exclamation

Big Spot is done! You can mail Corley his check. I'll take side bets on that! If you want any of that Big Fish money for the year you better start Largemouth fishing!

I will just accept Nolan's idea about putting the money in escrow. At least it could be earning interest. Laughing Laughing

We don't have to worry about Jeff winning the Large mouth money (well he does win that award). He won't fish another tournament this year.

First, you have got to be kidding me. Bruce & John will battle for the "Large" mouth award for the rest of the year, and neither YOU nor I will be close. Very Happy Very Happy

Second, I will be waiting for you at Mitchell. Hopefully, your "injuries" Shocked Confused Sad will be better and you will be able to fish, I mean, donate some cash to the pot at Mitchell. I will definitely see you there.

I had a higher calling!
But I suck on Jordan anyway, not to mention February Fishing! Won't make Mitchell either, gonna be on a NYC field trip with my son's 7th grade class. 7 days on a bus with 200 teenagers, I think I would prefer Mitchell.

Jeff,
Nice spot, it will be tough to beat no dought.

Zebra Jet has no clue at Jordan, its way too deap for him.

Abear needs to be considered for big mouth, I just thought I talked alot. Aleast I show up and pay my entry fee to talk big, but he talks big even when his not there. Go figure.
