I hate to tell you fella's this, but my butt will be sitting on the beach at an all-inclusive resort in the Dominican Republic with the wife, sipping on various adult beverages and smokin' Cuban cigars. Cool Cool Cool Cool

Enjoy one of my favorite lakes (as long as I am not fishing with Abear).

Scared? I can 0 at Guntersville just as good as you.

Dont know if I'm in or not yet. There are a few things that might get in the way that Saturday.

So now it's an open wildcat instead of a club wildcat. You need to make up your mind.

Abear - Where are all the club members? Don't they want to fish one of the best lakes in the US?

You cannot learn to fish Gville without trying. Summer can be real good if you locate the fish. They will be bunched up for the most part. Yes, it will be hot and yes, if you're fishing grass the grass knats will chew on you all day (don't wear yellow). BUT, if you get on some decent Gville LM's, you won't care. Wink

The most fun wildcats we ever had was about 3 years ago and they were actually on Guntersville in the summer. We would go on Saturday eveings, usually 4 - 10 or 4 - 11. Most of the time we had a three fish limit, but I think we even just had a Big Fish tournament once. We would have 7 or 8 boats sometimes. We got to fish in the cooler part of the day and didn't stay all night either. Those were the days!
